It's unbelievable how quickly a month can pass while dashing madly back and forth between two families at Christmastime, visiting friends, attending a wedding and a funeral and flying across the country 4 times.
Indeed, an entire month has passed during which we've reunited with family, opened presents, squashed our suitcases full of said presents, eaten our way through the holidays, bought new clothes to accommodate said eating, and are now back in KY resolved to be a little better, a little fitter, and a little more frequent in our blog entries. :) (And to write with a few less commas!)
So here it is, a month in quick review:
In keeping with tradition, we made our annual gingerbread men. It was mutually agreed that Becky won the prize for "Most Creative" with entries including: the Elvis Camel (complete with blue suede shoes and "bling") and Old Man 08' and Baby 09'.
David and Krista supervised the actual baking (no idea how that happened). In our most macabre gingerbread year yet, David managed to decapitate at least 50% of the gingerbread men somewhere between the baking sheet and the cooling rack, earning himself the title "Sweeney Dave". And McKay supervised the festivities from his perch atop various "arm chairs".

That reminds me of us having a frosting fight at your house one Christmas while we were "decorating" sugar cookies with whoever our boyfriends were at the time. Good times.
That last picture of your mom with Mckay is so adorable. That boy knows he's cute.
