Cox Family Reunion

The best thing about living in St. George now is that we are surrounded by so much of our family. Rachel's parents, brother, and grandparents all live in St. George. BJ's family has deep roots in St. George. BJ's mom lives in St. George as well as 7 of his 11 siblings. His father grew up on the Boots Cox dairy farm here. Now there is a great Cox heritage in St. George.

On Memorial Day weekend we attended the traditional Cox Family Reunion, held at Cox park. This year was particularly fun for the kids. In addition to the great park toys and sand volleyball pit there was also a bounce house provided. The kids had a blast jumping in it.

However, the highlight of the day for Benson and McKay was riding in the "choo choo". The reunion organizers had rented this great sort of homemade wagon train. It was made of carved out barrels with seats added. The barrels were all hooked together and pulled behind a 4-wheeler. It was so much fun for the kids. I couldn't get McKay to come out. He would ride and then just sit in his barrel and wait for the next ride.

Thanks for a great reunion, Cox family!

Hey - where do you rent those from? We'd like to rent them for our family reunion next week. Can you email me on that? :) Thanks!
